Colga win the league

A great win over Bohs saw Colga win the First Division Championship on the last day of the season. Great Job lads and to everyone involved.

The game was won comfortably in the end, but Colga were made work for it in the first half. Two goals from buth Kevin Finnegan and Wayne Finn, with another from Gary Forde were the difference in the end.

Colga got their title chase back on track by overcoming OLBC by three goals to one. Despite being one nil down at half time Colga exploded in the second half scoring three well deserved goals. Wayne Finn latched on to a through ball for the first. Kevin Finnegan nutmegged the goalie for Colga's second and he quickly followed up this with a strike from the edge of the box. This was a great result for Colga and keeps the team in serious contention for Division 1 honors. Congratulations to a great squad effort.
